She was the artist first

Back in high school, before we were even dating, my wife painted three guys for me. Meet one of them below: pale round head, big dark eyes, and the most serious little frown you've ever seen.

I play around with glitches. My wife is the true artist.

23 years later

23 years later, after an accident that changed the course of my journey, I got her guys tattooed onto my arm, straight from the real painting she did.

Her signature came along too, inked right under them. Now her art goes everywhere I go.

High-school sweethearts

She painted the two of us back when we were high-school sweethearts. She painted me a clown in high school too (I call him the Sad Clown).

Fun fact: before this year, the last concert I'd been to was with my now-wife, when I was 15 or 16, back in like 2005.

The little things

She took a collector's box I was about to throw away and made something out of it for me. She's such a thoughtful person.

When she's in the back seat, my hand is right there for hers. And like my loving wife tells me: angles matter.
